Job Description

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), located in Golden, Colorado, has an opening for a Posdoc in the area of Ultrafast Spectroscopy of metal-halide perovskite systems.

The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team investigating the unprecedent properties of metal-halide perovskite system. The candidate will use and develop novel ultrafast spectroscopy techniques to measure spin, charge, and energy transformation and transfer in uniquely designed organic/inorganic semiconductor systems. The candidate will also develop novel methods of preparation and characterization of such systems. Model of data and use in developing novel approaches to energy transformations using the unique and synergistic attributes of hybrid systems.

Basic Qualifications

Must be a recent PhD graduate within the last three years.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field.

  • Chemical synthesis

  • Thin film and/or nanocrystal preparation

  • Modeling experience

Preferred Qualifications

Air-free handling and theory experience are preferred.
